Amaia Montero balances Madrid luxury and Basque retreat amid musical comeback

Singer Amaia Montero is making headlines following her recent musical appearances and reports of a potential return to the group La Oreja de Van Gogh. Amidst this professional resurgence, details regarding her personal residences have surfaced.

Montero maintains a significant real estate asset in Madrid’s exclusive Salamanca neighborhood. The 289-square-meter apartment, purchased in 2009 for one million euros, is currently estimated to be worth approximately three million euros.

However, the artist has also sought refuge in her hometown of Irún, in the Basque Country. She utilizes a minimalist apartment there as a creative space and a way to find calm away from the spotlight. This location offers proximity to the French border and the Cantabrian coast, providing a quieter environment for her artistic process.
