Singer Amaia Montero experienced a technical malfunction during a La Oreja de Van Gogh concert at the Movistar Arena in Madrid. During the performance of the song ‘20 de enero’, the platform intended to lift the vocalist onto the stage failed, leaving her trapped below the stage level with only her head visible. Montero continued to sing throughout the incident, and the band continued to play until the platform was successfully operated again during the song's chorus.

In addition to her recent touring activities, Montero has reportedly been seeking privacy and creative inspiration in her hometown of Irún. She has established a minimalist residence there to facilitate her songwriting process away from the spotlight of Madrid.
