Amal Movement official calls for focus on South Lebanon

Mustafa Fouani, head of the Amal Movement's executive body, stated during a seminar commemorating the martyrdom of Lady Zahra that the government's priority must be the South and its people by working toward the withdrawal of enemy forces.

Fouani emphasized that the fate of South Lebanon is central to the Amal Movement's project. He criticized Israeli actions in the region, asserting that the destruction targets more than just infrastructure; it attacks the very foundations of life, including homes, agricultural lands, health facilities, and social services, thereby threatening human security and the right to return.

During the event, Fouani also honored deceased movement leaders Daoud Daoud, Mahmoud Faqih, and Hassan Sbeity, describing them as figures who contributed to the movement's organizational and political standing. He called for Lebanese unity to counter attempts to exploit internal divisions.
