Amalfi infrastructure and welfare updates
The Municipality of Amalfi has approved the final ranking for the 2026 TARI tax bonus, providing support to over 90 families. The initiative, led by Mayor Daniele Milano, offers a reduction or total exemption from waste taxes, with a maximum benefit of 200 euros per taxpayer. The total allocation for this measure has been increased to 18,000 euros.
In a separate development, the demolition and dismantling of beach establishments at Marina Grande are scheduled to begin on November 3. The operations, which involve four specific facilities, are expected to last approximately thirty working days and will require the closure of the Stradone to pedestrian traffic to ensure safety.
Additionally, a 13-million-euro investment project has been proposed for the Amalfi Coast to upgrade sewage and purification networks. The plan, proposed by Ausino Servizi Idrici Integrati, involves nine municipalities, including Amalfi, Positano, and Vietri sul Mare, aiming to improve wastewater collection and protect the marine environment.
