Amalfi Coast hosts art exhibition and digital wellbeing lecture

Various cultural and educational events are taking place along the Amalfi Coast. In Positano, the art exhibition “Positano in… Mostra” concludes with a showcase of works by contemporary painter Francesco Poiana. Represented internationally by the British gallery Messums, Poiana’s collection includes watercolors, oils, and canvases that depict Mediterranean landscapes. The exhibition is held at the Positano Tourist Office from September 1 to September 15.

In Agerola, pediatrician and former parliamentarian Paolo Siani will present his book “Benessere digitale” (Digital Wellbeing) on September 4. Part of the VI Conference on “Culture, Nature and Science of the Amalfi Coast,” the event addresses the impact of early and uncontrolled smartphone use on the cognitive and emotional development of children and adolescents. The presentation aims to promote a balanced approach to technology based on scientific evidence and recommendations from the Italian Society of Pediatrics.
