Amalia Kostopoulou and Jake Medwell's lavish wedding in Pylos, Greece

Greek social figure Amalia Kostopoulou married American businessman Jake Medwell on 30 May at the historic Castle of Pylos in the Peloponnese. More than 350 guests from Greece and abroad attended the three‑day celebration, which blended Greek Orthodox and Jewish traditions. The couple, who live in the United States, had previously signed a civil marriage in Texas on 10 October 2025.

The ceremony was followed by a sunset cocktail, a romantic dinner in the castle courtyard under a full moon, speeches, the couple’s first dance and a wedding‑cake cutting. The party moved to the Mandarin Oriental and continued until the early morning hours, with performances by John of Rüfüs Du Sol and DJ Augusto Yepes. Kostopoulou changed from an Elie Saab strapless gown to a glittering Georges Hobeika dress for the reception.
