Amanda and Phil Kessel selected for U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame

Amanda and Phil Kessel have been selected for the 2026 United States Hockey Hall of Fame class, according to an announcement by USA Hockey. The Madison, Wisconsin, natives are among five figures chosen for enshrinement.

Phil Kessel, a former NHL forward and three-time Stanley Cup winner, is recognized for his extensive career and his role in the United States' international success. Amanda Kessel, currently an executive for the Pittsburgh Penguins, is honored for her significant contributions to women’s hockey, including an Olympic gold medal in 2018 and multiple NCAA championships.

The remaining inductees include defenseman Ryan Suter, forward T. J. Oshie, and athletic trainer Stan Wong. A formal induction ceremony is scheduled to take place in Washington on November 30.
