Financial disclosures indicate the race is becoming increasingly competitive, with Janoo’s total fundraising for the cycle reaching $706,000 and leaving her with approximately $280,000 in cash on hand.
Governor Scott reported spending roughly $234,330 in September, leaving him with $295,845 on hand. While Scott maintains a higher cash reserve, Janoo has seen significant support from prominent figures, including State Treasurer Mike Pieciak, U.S. Senator Peter Welch, and Ben & Jerry’s co-founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield. Both campaigns have also increased their expenditures on television advertising.
