Amanda Knox to address murder case controversies on Verissimo

Amanda Knox will appear in an exclusive interview on the Italian television program Verissimo, hosted by Silvia Toffanin. For the first time, Knox will be accompanied by her husband, Christopher Robinson, and their two children, Eureka and Echo.

During the interview, Knox will address the controversies surrounding her stand-up comedy show, ‘Cartwheel’, which recounts her personal experiences related to the Perugia murder case. She has faced criticism from the family of Meredith Kercher, who described the show as offensive. Knox responded by stating, “I do not make irony about a murder,” and emphasized that her message is not to normalize violence against women, but to highlight the misogyny involved in both her imprisonment and Kercher’s death.

Knox also discussed her past relationship with Raffaele Sollecito and expressed regret toward Patrick Lumumba, noting that while she has apologized for his imprisonment, she feels his losses were significant.
