Amanda Magalhães releases new album ‘Era Uma Vez o Amanhã’

Amanda Magalhães has released her third studio album, ‘Era Uma Vez o Amanhã’, through the Boia Fria Produções label. The project features 10 original tracks that blend rap, contemporary MPB, grooves, and regional rhythms.

The album addresses social themes including digital validation, capitalism, and the advancement of artificial intelligence. Magalhães drew inspiration from the works of philosopher Ailton Krenak, utilizing sound collages and excerpts from Krenak, psychoanalyst Maria Homem, and sociologist Anibal Quijano to reflect on the relationship between the past and the future.

Magalhães served as the composer, performer, keyboardist, and musical producer for the record. The album includes a collaboration on the closing track, ‘Canção Pra te Amar no Fim do Mundo’, featuring Chico César and rapper Bione.
