Singer, songwriter, and actress Amanda Mendonça will be honored with the Arte em Movimento Trophy in the singer category. The award, presented by the André Marçal Commission, recognizes her contributions to Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) through her original works and performances.

The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, November 4, in Rio de Janeiro at Coffee Break, located in Lapa. The event also marks the 9th anniversary of the award and will feature various artists, writers, and personalities, including the trophy's creator, visual artist Zép.

Mendonça, originally from Maceió, Alagoas, is noted for blending her Northeastern roots with contemporary MPB. She recently released singles from her first EP, Andarilha – Casa de Memórias (Deluxe), and is currently recording new tracks for an EP release scheduled for early December.
