Amanda Serrano retains featherweight titles with 50th career win

Puerto Rican boxer Amanda Serrano retained her unified featherweight titles after defeating Lucrecia Anabella Manzur by majority decision at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California. The victory marks the 50th professional win for Serrano, who successfully defended her WBA, WBO, and The Ring featherweight championships.

The bout was contested over 12 rounds of two minutes each, a non-standard format for high-level women's boxing. Two judges scored the fight 116-112 in favor of Serrano, while the third judge scored it 114-114. Manzur, an Argentine challenger, applied significant pressure during the first half of the fight, but Serrano utilized her experience and counter-punching to secure the win.

The event also marked a technological milestone as the first world title boxing match to be streamed live on TikTok, attracting approximately 3.4 million views.
