Amandaland to return with hour-long BBC Christmas special

The BBC has announced an hour-long Christmas special for the comedy series Amandaland, which is currently filming for a late 2026 release. The episode follows the character Amanda as she attempts to organize a large, last-minute Christmas Eve party to impress an old school friend, Millie, played by Daisy Haggard.

Lucy Punch will reprise her lead role alongside returning cast members Joanna Lumley, Philippa Dunne, Samuel Anderson, and Rochenda Sandall. The special follows the success of the 2025 festive episode, which reached 7.4 million viewers. The new installment is scheduled to air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer ahead of the show's third series.
