Amapá Government advances construction of new Macapá Emergency Hospital

The Government of Amapá is advancing the construction of the new Emergency Hospital in Macapá. The project has entered a new phase involving urbanization, including paving, landscaping, and external lighting.

Internally, work is focused on installing fixed and modular furniture in consultation rooms and reception areas, as well as completing electrical, electronic, and climate control systems. The facility is also being prepared to receive diagnostic imaging equipment, such as CT scanners and MRI machines. The project is funded through state treasury resources and parliamentary amendments.
