Amar Dedić impresses at Newcastle United

Bosnia and Herzegovina international Amar Dedić has made a significant impact following his £29.5 million move to Newcastle United. After recovering from a hamstring injury, the right-back delivered a standout performance against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, earning player-of-the-match honors from Chronicle Live.

Dedić contributed to both of Newcastle's goals during the match, bringing his total to four assists in 11 appearances. His tactical discipline and ability to neutralize opposing wingers have established him as a key figure under manager Matthias Jaissle, who previously coached him at Red Bull Salzburg.

Jaissle has indicated that the arrivals of Dedić and Nico González signal a new era of transfer activity for the club. Newcastle has invested approximately £130 million in recent reinforcements and has appointed Thomas Amaral, formerly of Benfica, as the new head of recruitment to work alongside sporting director Ross Wilson.
