Amar Upadhyay returns as Mihir Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2

Actor Amar Upadhyay is set to reprise his iconic role as Mihir Virani in the second season of the television series ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. A new promotional clip reveals that the character will reunite with Tulsi, played by Smriti Irani, during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

Upadhyay described the return to the show as an emotional homecoming, noting that the character has been a significant part of his acting career. The series, which is available on Star Plus and JioHotstar, has been extended through December 2026 and may continue into 2027. The current storyline involves complex family dynamics, including Tulsi having spent a decade in prison for a crime she did not commit.
