Río Negro to tender emergency repairs for Routes 22 and 151

The province of Río Negro has initiated the bidding process for emergency maintenance and recovery works on National Routes 22 and 151. The project involves four priority interventions across different sectors of these corridors to address severe road deterioration and improve transit safety.

The total official budget for these works is estimated at approximately 13,000 million pesos (roughly 8.28 million USD), based on the lowest offers received during the tender opening. The financing will be shared between the provincial government and the company Oldelval, which will contribute approximately 7,168 million pesos through a territorial development agreement.

These works follow a recent agreement with the National Government, which allowed Río Negro to assume partial operation and maintenance of more than 337 kilometers of these routes. The provincial administration aims to begin construction during the second half of November, with an expected execution period of 120 days.
