Amaseno: Man reported for killing eight cattle and threatening farmer

An investigation by the Carabinieri in Amaseno has led to the reporting of a local man to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Frosinone for serious threats and the killing of animals.

The investigation, which covered incidents occurring between December 2025 and October 2026, suggests the crimes were motivated by disputes regarding alleged illegal grazing. The man is accused of killing eight cattle with gunfire and issuing repeated death threats against a local farmer, who reportedly lived in a state of constant fear for his safety.

As a precautionary measure to prevent further violence, authorities have seized legally held weapons and ammunition from the man and from the home of his cohabiting daughter.
