Amateur tennis tournaments in Poznań County and Kędzierzyn‑Koźle draw local players

The seventh edition of the County Tennis Championships for the Poznań Starost's Cup was held at the Sportoteka courts in Puszczykowo. Ksenia Gwizdowska won the open‑amateur singles and, together with Dorota Słojewska, the doubles, while Paweł Aszyk captured the men’s single title. The event was organized by the Fundacja Ruszaj Się with Bia Tennis Academy as co‑organiser and enjoyed the honorary patronage of County Starost Jan Grabkowski.

In Kędzierzyn‑Koźle, the city amateur tennis championships for men’s and women’s singles were featured among a packed June 2026 programme of cultural and sporting activities, including book fairs, music festivals and outdoor exhibitions. The tennis competition formed part of the town’s effort to promote community sports alongside a wide array of local events.
