AmaWaterways appoints Steve Spivak as Chief Commercial Officer

AmaWaterways has appointed Steve Spivak as its first Chief Commercial Officer, effective September 30. Spivak joins the company with nearly 30 years of experience in the travel, hospitality, and sales sectors.

In his new role, Spivak will oversee the Sales, Global Service & Reservations, and Revenue Management teams. He is tasked with integrating these three divisions under a unified commercial strategy to drive company growth and strengthen connections with guests, travel advisors, and strategic partners.

Spivak joins AmaWaterways from Tauck, where he spent 14 years, most recently serving as Vice President of Global Sales and Customer Experience. His previous professional background includes leadership roles at Loews Hotels and Starwood Hotels & Resorts, as well as experience as an entrepreneur and adjunct professor at New York University.
