AmaWaterways unveils AmaNubia luxury Nile River ship

AmaWaterways has announced the AmaNubia, a new luxury river vessel scheduled to begin sailing on the Nile River in November 2026. The boutique ship is designed to accommodate 76 guests across 38 staterooms, including 15 suites.

The vessel’s interior design is inspired by Nubian culture, Egyptian landscapes, and ancient temple stonework. Onboard amenities include a sun-deck pool, a spa, a fitness center, and locally inspired Middle Eastern cuisine. To enhance the cultural experience, Egyptologists will be available to provide expert commentary and lead excursions to historical sites such as the Pyramids of Giza, Luxor Temple, and the Valley of the Kings.

This launch is part of a broader expansion of AmaWaterways’ fleet in the region, following the 2024 debut of the AmaLilia. The company also plans to introduce the updated AmaDahlia in September 2026 and the AmaCleo in 2027.
