Amazfit launches T-Rex Dual Solar smartwatch with dual-sided solar charging

Amazfit has announced the launch of the T-Rex Dual Solar, a flagship outdoor smartwatch featuring a world-first dual-sided solar charging system. The device utilizes both the front AMOLED display and a glass-ceramic backplate to collect solar energy, allowing for extended battery life during long-distance expeditions.

Under typical usage, the watch offers up to 25 days of battery life. With three hours of daily solar charging via the backplate, the battery life can extend up to 51 days. The hardware is designed for extreme environments, featuring a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen with 3,000 nits peak brightness, a Grade 5 titanium bezel, and sapphire glass. It is built to military standards and supports operation in temperatures as low as -30°C.

Additional features include 10 ATM water resistance (supporting diving up to 50 meters), dual-frequency GPS, and offline topographic mapping. The watch also supports LiveShare real-time location tracking and a hybrid training system. The T-Rex Dual Solar is priced at 4,499 CNY and is available starting October 8, 2026, via the Amazfit flagship store on JD.com.
