Amazfit rolls out Zepp OS 6 update to Active Max

Zepp Health has begun rolling out the Zepp OS 6 software update to the Amazfit Active Max, adhering to the release schedule announced earlier this year. The update focuses on enhancing training capabilities and software functionality rather than altering the device's physical interface.

Key features included in the rollout are the Training Library, which allows users to access structured training content directly from the watch, and Multi-Device Activity Sync. The update also introduces Athlete Defaults, a feature designed to automate settings such as activating ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode and maximizing GPS precision automatically when a workout begins.

Additional improvements target specific sports, including FTMS rowing support, manual rest options for swimming, and enhanced navigation tools. These software advancements represent an effort by Amazfit to narrow the competitive gap with Garmin by improving the overall training experience and automating technical adjustments for athletes.
