Amazon appoints Chris Bailey as Swansea Site Leader

Amazon has appointed Chris Bailey as the new Site Leader at its Swansea fulfilment centre in the UK. Bailey, a local resident, began his career with the company in 2010 as a seasonal associate while pursuing a master’s degree in business management.

Over a 14-year tenure, Bailey has held various roles, including Area Manager, Operations Manager, and Regional Operations Manager for the West Cluster, where he oversaw seven sites. He is credited with helping shape Amazon’s Delivery Estimate Accuracy (DEA) strategy. The Swansea facility is notable for being one of only three Amazon buildings in the UK to integrate inbound, outbound, and customer returns operations within a single location.
