Amazon delivery driver accused of assaulting elderly man in California

A civil lawsuit has been filed in Sacramento County, California, alleging that an Amazon delivery driver assaulted a 71-year-old man at an ARCO gas station in Elk Grove. The plaintiff, an agricultural and animal production facilities auditor, claims the attack resulted in a concussion and neck injuries.

According to attorney Tony Buzbee, the confrontation began when the driver became upset, believing the elderly man had taken his parking space. Surveillance footage reportedly shows the driver following the man into a convenience store, making verbal threats, and then striking the victim from behind. The driver has been arrested and faces charges including felony battery and elder abuse.
