Amazon driver caught urinating in NYC apartment lobby
An Amazon delivery driver was captured on Ring camera footage urinating in the lobby of an upscale apartment building in Greenwich Village, New York City, on August 26.
The footage shows the driver, wearing a light blue-and-gray Amazon uniform, using the building’s electronic doorbell system to gain entry. After scanning the hallway, the individual proceeded to urinate on personal belongings, including shoes, a chair, and a table located in the common area. The resident, identified as Donny, reported that several items had to be discarded due to being soaked.
Amazon described the incident as “horrible” and offered the resident a $50 gift card as an apology. The resident refused the gesture, calling it inappropriate for the situation. Legal representatives for the tenant, including attorney Cary London, stated they are currently exploring all legal avenues and potential litigation against the company.
