Amazon expands Prime delivery services in Australia

Amazon is expanding its Prime delivery capabilities across Australia, introducing faster shipping options in major metropolitan areas.

In Adelaide, Prime members can now access free one-day delivery on eligible orders with no minimum spend. More than 500,000 products, including electronics, beauty, and household essentials, are available for this service. Orders are processed through the Amazon Delivery Station in Cavan to serve various postcodes across the region.

In Sydney and Melbourne, Amazon has launched a Prime Free Same-Day service that offers delivery windows as short as five hours. This includes overnight delivery (orders placed by 10pm arriving between 4am and 8am), afternoon delivery (orders placed by 8am arriving by 6pm), and evening delivery (orders placed by 12 noon arriving by 10pm). In Sydney, over 1 million products are eligible for these expedited services, while Melbourne customers have access to over 500,000 items.
