Amazon expands telecommunications partnership with Vodafone España

Amazon has restructured its telecommunications services in Spain, transferring the management of all its connections to Vodafone España. This move expands an existing alliance between the two companies, which previously focused on fixed telecommunications.

Under the new agreement, Vodafone España—controlled by the British group Zegona—will take over mobile connectivity, including more than 4,000 mobile lines that were previously managed by Telefónica. This transition allows Amazon to integrate its professional, office, and operational center connectivity under a unified management model with consistent service and support standards.

Vodafone already manages Amazon’s fixed infrastructure in Spain, including over 100 dedicated circuits for its central offices, logistics centers, and warehouses. The new contract also includes specific roaming conditions designed to support Amazon’s international teams and reduce costs associated with voice and data usage outside of Spain.
