Gattis recounted a recent visit to IO Interactive’s Copenhagen studio, noting the current game’s solid performance and saying that “as long as we feel there’s a desire for players to have the game, it’s safe to say it’s going to be made.” He also reminded that Amazon MGM holds the Bond IP, so any decision will require board approval. Earlier speculation about whether IO Interactive would develop a sequel stemmed from Gattis’s earlier comments, but the clarification suggests both parties are open to continuing the series pending commercial success.
