Amazon introduces new Alexa Tablet series with Android support

Amazon has launched a new line of tablets featuring Alexa+ intelligence and full access to the Google Play Store. The series, which effectively replaces the Amazon Fire tablet line, includes three models: the Alexa Tablet 12 Pro, the Alexa Tablet 11, and the Alexa Tablet 8.

The flagship Alexa Tablet 12 Pro features an aluminum unibody design, a 12-inch high-resolution display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 3:2 aspect ratio. It offers two display options: a standard vibrant screen and a Nanomatte anti-glare version. Powered by a 4 nm 8-core chip with up to 16 GB of RAM, the device is designed for multitasking, gaming, and 4K streaming.

These tablets run on the Android operating system, allowing users to access millions of apps such as YouTube, Netflix, and Gmail alongside Amazon services like Prime Video and Kindle. The 12 Pro model includes four Dolby Atmos speakers, Wi-Fi 6E support, and up to 16 hours of video playback.
