Amazon introduces price history tool as Frequency Festival begins
Amazon is introducing a new price history feature to increase transparency for shoppers. Utilizing its AI assistant, Rufus, the company will allow users to view price fluctuations over the last 30 days, three months, or a full year directly on product pages. This tool aims to help customers determine if current deals are genuine or if prices were lower in the recent past, particularly during major sales events like Prime Day or Black Friday.
Separately, the Frequency Festival in St. Pölten has commenced its 26th edition. The event utilizes a cashless payment system where attendees load funds onto wristbands or via an app. Reported prices at the festival include various food items, such as burgers ranging from €8.50 to €17.90, and beverages like beer for approximately €7.00 per half liter.
