Amazon launches Family sharing for Prime in Italy
Amazon announced the rollout of Amazon Family in Italy, a feature that lets the holder of a Prime subscription act as an administrator and invite another adult household member to share Prime benefits without sharing login credentials. The invited user keeps a separate Amazon account while gaining access to fast unlimited deliveries, Prime Video with advertisements, Prime Music, Amazon Luna and exclusive offers such as Prime Day.
Each participant retains their own order history, personalized recommendations and account security. The administrator can designate a shared payment method; the invited adult sees only the last four digits of the card, the cardholder’s name, expiry date and billing address, while the administrator receives a notification of the total amount spent. The service carries no extra charge beyond the existing Prime subscription and is activated through the My Account → Your Amazon Family section, where the admin sends an invitation and manages settings.
The feature will be made available progressively to all Italian Prime members in the coming days.
