Amazon launches Great Freedom Sale in India on Aug 7, 2026

Amazon announced that its Great Freedom Sale will begin in India on August 7, 2026. The Independence‑Day‑themed event will feature discounts on a wide range of product categories, including smartphones, laptops, smart TVs, appliances, wearables, furniture, kitchen gadgets and other everyday essentials.

Bank partners will provide additional savings: HDFC Bank credit‑card holders receive a 10 percent instant discount on eligible purchases, while Amazon Pay ICICI Bank cards offer up to 5 percent cashback. Shoppers can also use exchange offers, no‑cost EMI and other promotions, though the sale’s end date has not been disclosed.
