Amazon Manga Weekend Festival offers 50% point redemption on award-winning series

As part of the Amazon Manga Weekend Festival held from October 16 to 18, several award-winning manga series are being offered with a 50% point redemption sale.

Featured titles include Mitsuru Sugaya’s ‘Game Center Arashi’, a series about a gaming prodigy that won the 28th Shogakukan Manga Award. The series is noted for its protagonist, Arashi Ishino, whose iconic design was reportedly finalized in just one hour by editors during a tight deadline.

Also included in the promotion is Ryoko Yamagishi’s ‘Hi no De Dokoro no Tenno’ (Complete Edition), which won the 7th Kodansha Manga Award. The historical fantasy manga depicts the complex relationships and political struggles of Prince Shotoku during the Asuka period. The work has gained further cultural significance, with its themes being adapted into a Noh/Kyogen performance scheduled for 2026.
