Amazon MGM and Jazwares to develop Squishmallows movie

Amazon MGM Studios and Jazwares have partnered to develop a feature film based on the Squishmallows plush toy brand. The project is being co-produced by Beau Flynn of FlynnPictureCo, known for his work on Disney’s ‘Moana’.

Squishmallows has grown into a $1 billion global lifestyle franchise with over 3,000 original characters. The brand is sold in more than 60 countries and has moved beyond plush toys into apparel, beauty, and home decor through various licensing partnerships.

While the film is being developed as a major family-friendly event, specific details regarding the animation style, live-action elements, or cast have not yet been announced.
