Amazon MGM Studios casts regulars for dark comedy series

Amazon Prime Video has announced eight series regulars for the upcoming dark comedy adaptation of Benjamin Stevenson’s bestselling novel, ‘Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone’. The cast includes Patricia Clarkson, Elizabeth Marvel, Daniella Garcia, Felix Solis, Sean Astin, Annaleigh Ashford, Chris Walley, and Eliza Bennett.

Joining lead actor Penn Badgley, the series is set in the mountains of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. The plot follows mystery-writing expert Ern Cunningham as he attends a family reunion that turns deadly when a frozen body is discovered during a snowstorm.

David Hemingson serves as showrunner and executive producer, adapting the book for the screen. Alexandra Brodsky will direct half of the episodes, including the pilot and the season finale. The production is a collaboration between Amazon MGM Studios, Fifth Season, and Made Up Stories.
