Amazon offers House-Blend coffee beans amid caffeine studies

Amazon is offering its 'by Amazon' House-Blend coffee beans at a reduced price of 12.64 Euro per kilogram. The medium-roasted beans are suitable for various preparation methods, including espresso machines, filter coffee machines, and French presses, provided they are ground appropriately.

Regarding coffee consumption, research clarifies the relationship between temperature and caffeine. While iced coffee and cold brew are often confused, they differ in preparation: iced coffee is brewed hot and then cooled, whereas cold brew is extracted using cold or room-temperature water over several hours. Importantly, caffeine does not disappear when coffee cools; hot-brewed coffee retains approximately the same caffeine content after cooling as it did immediately after preparation.
