Amazon opens robotic logistics center in Dobromierz, Poland

Amazon has opened a new logistics center in Dobromierz, located in the Lower Silesia region of Poland. The facility spans over 200,000 square meters across four floors and serves as the company’s first robotic center in the region.

The center utilizes more than 5,000 Amazon Robotics units to assist staff with repetitive tasks such as sorting and transporting shelving. The facility features sustainable infrastructure, including over 9,000 photovoltaic panels on the roof and electric forklifts.

Amazon is currently recruiting over 1,000 employees, including operators, technicians, engineers, and administrative staff. Starting October 2026, the company plans to increase wages for hourly workers across its Polish logistics centers. Benefits offered to direct employees include free transportation on selected routes, meals for 1 PLN, private medical care, and professional development support.
