Amazon package delivery in Gers contains live snake

A resident of Lussan, in the Gers department of France, discovered a live snake inside an Amazon package intended to contain an electric razor. The incident occurred on Thursday, September 17, when the recipient, a man named Ibrahima, attempted to open the envelope using his teeth.

Upon opening the package, a snake emerged from the packaging and escaped into the man's garden. The recipient, who noted a severe fear of reptiles, filmed the event as the animal fled. He observed that the packaging appeared intact and lacked any visible holes, leading to the hypothesis that the snake may have entered the shipment at a distribution facility before the package was sealed.

Following the incident, the customer contacted Amazon. He reported receiving an automated response from the company's customer service that suggested he could keep or donate the contents of the package.
