Amazon has announced its Prime Big Deal Days fall sale, scheduled for October 6 and 7. While the event offers various discounts on electronics, furniture, and household goods, experts and consumers are advising caution regarding the legitimacy of certain offers.

Early deals are already live, featuring discounts on brands such as Apple, Anker, and various furniture retailers. However, some reports suggest that not all advertised savings are genuine. A script developed by a Reddit user analyzed 620 early offers and found only 66 to 70 were actual bargains, noting that some discounts appear significant only because list prices were artificially inflated.

To navigate the sale effectively, consumers are encouraged to use price-tracking tools to verify whether current discounts represent true savings compared to historical pricing. The upcoming two-day event follows a larger four-day sale held in June.
