Amazon Prime Day 2026 launches a four‑day global sale

Amazon has shifted its flagship Prime Day promotion to June 23‑26 2026, extending the event to four days and rolling it out in 26 countries. The new schedule aims to capture consumer spending before summer holidays and ahead of competing sporting events.

The sale covers more than 35 product categories, from flagship smartphones and foldable devices to home‑automation gear, robot vacuum cleaners, air fryers, kitchen appliances, fashion apparel and refurbished items. Discounts reach up to 50 % on brands such as Roborock, Dreame, Tineco, Ninja, SwitchBot and many others, while special coupons and a 15 % extra rebate are offered on Amazon’s Second‑Hand marketplace.

Amazon also introduced “Amazon Destinazione Sud”, a programme in Southern Italy that provides commission credits and digital‑skill training to local SMEs and students. Analysts note that the event’s expanded reach and AI‑driven price‑tracking tools could influence global e‑commerce pricing trends.

Critics warn that some “Prime Day” discounts may simply reflect price‑inflation tactics rather than genuine savings, highlighting the need for consumers to compare historic prices before purchasing.
