Amazon Prime Video launches 99‑cent film rental promotion in Germany

Amazon has started a new weekend promotion on its Prime Video service in Germany, offering hundreds of movies for rent at a flat price of 99 cents each. The selection includes titles such as "Greenland 2", "Anaconda", "Shadow Chase" and "The Ugly Stepsister", among many others.

The rentals are available only to Prime members, who can add a film to their library for 30 days. Once playback begins, viewers have a 48‑hour window to finish the movie. The service can be accessed on a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, PCs, Macs, smart TVs and gaming consoles.
