Amazon Prime Video launches free trial and discounted Channel promotions in Germany and Italy

Amazon Prime Video is promoting several legal ways for users to access the service at reduced cost or for free. In Germany, Amazon continues to offer a 30‑day free trial for new Prime members, a six‑month free trial for students through Prime Student, and the option to share a Prime account with family members, while warning that sharing outside the household may breach terms.

Starting 19 June 2026, Amazon Italy introduced limited‑time offers on Prime Video Channels. Discounts of up to 60 % are available for the first two months on Paramount+, Apple TV+ and MGM+ channels, and a 30‑day free period is offered for channels such as Infinity Selection, Anime Generation, Discovery+, Lionsgate+, Crunchyroll and Midnight Factory. These promotions apply to activations made by 2 July 2026 and renew at standard rates thereafter. Amazon Prime’s regular price remains €4.99 per month (€49.90 per year), with a reduced €2.49 per month for students.
