Amazon Prime Video launches new episodes and expands 2026 original slate

Amazon Prime Video added fresh episodes to its catalog, releasing new installments of the comedy series Brooklyn Nine‑Nine (Season 2, two new episodes) and the British comedy This Country (Season 1, three new episodes) in Germany, alongside the science‑fiction title Die Erzählung des Neunschwänzigen.

The service also disclosed its 2026 original‑series schedule, featuring Good Omens Season 3 (May 13, 2026) as the final chapter, Cross Season 2 (Feb 11), 56 Days (Feb 18), Young Sherlock (Mar 4), Off Campus (May 13), Spider‑Noir (May 27), Elle (Jul 1), Murder 101 (Jul 13), Ride or Die (Jul 15) and Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2 (Jul 31). The slate spans crime, period mystery, thriller, action‑comedy and superhero genres, underscoring Prime Video’s strategy to broaden its genre mix and attract diverse viewer groups.
