Amazon Prime Video expands July 2026 lineup and confirms subscription pricing
Amazon Prime Video is rolling out a broad July 2026 content slate in Germany, adding dozens of films and series. Highlights include the prequel series "Elle", new seasons of "Poker Face" and "Isakapatnam", and the acquisition of full‑series packages such as "Suits" (seasons 1‑9) and "Person of Interest" (seasons 1‑5). Additional titles span a range of genres, from classic movies like "1984" and "The Great Gatsby" to new releases such as "The Nun II" and "Tenet".
The service also reiterates its subscription costs: €8.99 per month for Prime Video, €89.90 per year (≈€7.49 per month), with a 50 % discount for eligible students, apprentices and certain young adults, bringing the price down to €4.49 per month. Prime members retain additional benefits, including unlimited streaming, offline downloads, and access to UEFA Champions League live streams.
Separately, Amazon Prime Video announced that several films and series will be removed from its catalogue in June 2026, including titles like "Elementary", "Scorpion", "Ocean Wonders" and a selection of movies such as "The Great Wall" and "Disturbing the Peace".
