Amazon Prime Video secures exclusive streaming rights for Fallout series

The Fallout television adaptation is not available on Netflix; it streams exclusively on Amazon Prime Video after Amazon Studios acquired the rights from Bethesda Softworks. The series, developed by showrunners Geneva Robertson‑Dworet and Graham Wagner with executive producer Jonathan Nolan, continues to expand its narrative in season 3.

Season 3 will introduce the Brotherhood of Steel’s Order of the Quill, a faction focused on preserving pre‑apocalypse literature and technology. Production was green‑lit in May 2025, with filming resuming in May 2026 at locations in Santa Clarita and Los Angeles, California. The upcoming season adds actors Aaron Paul and Ella Purnell to the returning cast and is expected to premiere in mid‑to‑late 2027.
