Amazon rebrands Kindle Unlimited to Kindle+
Amazon has officially rebranded its digital reading subscription service, Kindle Unlimited, to Kindle+. The change is primarily a branding update intended to highlight that the service includes more than just e-books, such as audiobooks, comics, manga, and magazines.
Existing subscribers will see their accounts transition automatically to Kindle+ without requiring any action, new sign-ups, or changes to payment methods and billing cycles. In markets like Germany, the monthly price remains unchanged at 11.75 euros. The service continues to allow users to borrow up to 20 titles simultaneously.
While the rebranding is global, the availability of certain features varies by region. For example, while independent authors can now offer audiobooks via KDP Select or ACX, audiobook listening within the Kindle+ subscription is currently restricted to subscribers residing in the United States. Amazon has indicated that expansion to other international markets is expected in the future.
