Amazon regional initiatives promote innovation and bioeconomy

Regional initiatives in the Amazon are focusing on economic diversification through innovation and bioeconomy. In Coari, Amazonas, Sebrae is hosting the first BORA Meeting, aimed at strengthening the local innovation ecosystem. The event seeks to connect entrepreneurs, students, and public managers to explore how technology and sustainability can create new business opportunities, particularly in sectors like oil, gas, smart energy, and circular economy.

Simultaneously, Sebrae Amapá led a delegation of ten entrepreneurs to the Inova Amazônia Summit in Acre. The caravan included businesses from diverse sectors such as aquaculture, pharmaceuticals, technology, and handicrafts. The summit's goal is to connect startups and companies with investors and buyers to promote the Amazonian bioeconomy and demonstrate that forest preservation can coexist with technological advancement and commercial growth.
