Amazon unveils Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio speakers in India

Amazon announced the launch of two new smart speakers in India – the Echo Dot Max and the Echo Studio. The Echo Dot Max is priced at ₹10,999 and offers a two‑way speaker system with a dedicated woofer, tweeter and built‑in smart‑home hub that supports Zigbee, Matter, Thread, Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi. The Echo Studio costs ₹23,999 and delivers spatial audio with Dolby Atmos, a high‑excursion woofer and three full‑range drivers, also featuring the same hub and Omnisense ambient AI technology. Both devices run on Amazon’s custom AZ3/AZ3 Pro chips, integrate Alexa voice control, and can automate lights, fans, ACs and other compatible appliances using motion, ultrasound and temperature sensors. The speakers are available for purchase through Amazon.in and Flipkart, with Amazon India’s Echo and Smart Home Country Lead Malvika Jethwani highlighting the premium audio experience and advanced home‑automation capabilities.
