Amazon unveils Kindle Scribe 2024 with Colorsoft screen and European price cut

Amazon has launched the 2024 version of its Kindle Scribe e‑reader, adding a new Colorsoft model that features an 11‑inch colored e‑ink display, a premium stylus and AI‑driven productivity tools such as natural‑language search, automatic summarisation and cloud‑document integration. The Colorsoft edition arrived in Brazil, offering up to ten pen colours, a thin 5.4 mm profile and a quad‑core processor that Amazon says makes writing and page turning up to 40 % faster than earlier models.

In France, the same Kindle Scribe is being promoted at a reduced price of €309, down from its regular €449 list price, a €140 discount that Amazon highlights as a limited‑time offer. The device retains a 10.2‑inch 300 ppi E‑Ink screen, a premium pen, weeks of battery life and access to the Kindle Store and Kindle Unlimited service.
